The article deals with the methods of performance evaluation of units of local executive powers in the Russian Federation. Performance implies executive bodies fulfilling their obligations undertaken, i.e. external performance is evaluated. The methods are based on the rating system. The authors report the results thereof as calculated for the units of the Administration of the Volgograd region.
