The article deals with the peculiarities of the international territorial strategies of the tourism business image in different countries; the author systematizes their implementation lines. Case studies of Andorra, Spain, Italy, Cuba, Tunis, France, etc. allow to bring forth recommendations to enhance the efficiency of the Russian tourism business. Summing up the author draws conclusions on how the image of the country and its constituent entities affect tourism consumers.
