Cluster approach in the engineering complex in the Vologda region

The article substantiates the possibility of the cluster approach applied to the engineering in the Vologda region. To that end the authors describe advantages of the cluster form of the spatial economy and analyse the cluster prerequisites in the engineering industry of the Vologda region, as well as suggest steps of public support.
