Subject. This article focuses on the tools for managing the economic security of complex systems in the context of global competition for a favorable future. Objectives. The study aims to find new approaches to monitoring and managing economic development and security that work in the context of the AI revolution and the rapid development of complex business ecosystems. Methods. For the study, I used methods of systematization and comparative analysis. Results. The article investigates the concepts of safety and the problems of traditional static approaches to security. It also considers the possibilities and problems of using promising tools of multi-model complexes, nooscope and qualitative comparative analysis. Conclusions. To identify the necessary set of factors for achieving economic security in the context of continuous technological and social changes, it is necessary to use configuration and qualitative comparative analysis. The proposed conclusions can help in the study of the economic security of complex systems.
Keywords: continuous changes, dynamics of the economic security landscape, multimodel complexes, nooscope, application of qualitative comparative and configuration analyses
