Subject. This article discusses the potential of using BI systems to track ESG factors for the purpose of strengthening Russia's economic security. Objectives. The study aims to develop recommendations for the application of BI systems in the context of ensuring the economic security of the Russian regions. Methods. For the study, we used methods of logical, comparative, and statistical analyses. Results. The article reveals that the implementation of BI tools into the ESG factor monitoring system can optimize data collection and promptly generate reports on the socioeconomic indicators of the region. It also proposes development of a dynamic information dashboard on the example of the Republic of Dagestan. Conclusions. The use of BI systems in the information and analytical support of the Russian regions has high potential. The implementation of BI systems for monitoring ESG factors will allow timely managerial decisions to ensure the economic security of the country.
