Subject. This article focuses on the formation of the bioeconomy and autotrophic management.
Objectives. The study aims to analyze forms of economic organization that ensure the minimization of negative anthropogenic impact on the biosphere.
Methods. For the study, I used the methods of analysis, synthesis, description, and comparison.
Results. The article studies the main prerequisites explaining the need for the transformation of existing economic systems by shifting from a heterotrophic to an autotrophic type of resource use. It also conducts a brief comparative overview of some characteristics and principles of the bioeconomy and the autotrophic mode of management functioning.
Conclusions. The work identified and characterized similarities and differences between approaches to the creation of new forms of economic systems based on cyclic principles of resource circulation, involving the creation of waste-free closed cycles of matter and energy circulation.

Keywords: bioeconomy, autotrophic farming, nature-like technologies, anthropogenic impact minimization
