Subject. This article discusses the economic aspects of peasant farm activities. Objectives. The study aims to identify the key barriers in the financing system of peasant farms and product marketing organizations, and develop practical recommendations for their sustainable development. Methods. For the study, we used general scientific (observation, analysis) and special methods (synthesis, grouping, induction, deduction). The research informational basis consists of official statistics and information agencies data. Results. The article proposes recommendations on financial state support, integration and cooperation, and marketing and sales to promote the sustainable development of Russian peasant farms. Conclusions. Existing government support measures do not always achieve their goal. To increase the efficiency of peasant farms, it is necessary to develop domestic programs and adapt and implement the experience of other countries into Russian practice. The results obtained can be applied in the current practice of agricultural producers when adjusting domestic programs to support agricultural entrepreneurship.
