Subject. This article focuses on theoretical and methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of implementing innovations and digital technologies in mechanical engineering enterprises.
Objectives. The study aims to develop a methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of implementing innovations and digital technologies in mechanical engineering, serving as a basis for introducing logistics management methods under conditions of unstable demand and market transformation.
Methods. For the study, I used the methods of theoretical generalization and comparison, system-structural and formal-logical analysis, as well as methods of synthesis and classification, tabular and graphical techniques for data visualization.
Results. The article identifies significant limitations of traditional methods for evaluating effectiveness, and develops a conceptual model of integrative assessment that takes into account the synergistic and ecosystem effects of digitalization.
Conclusions. The proposed integrative approach allows for taking into account the shortcomings of existing methodologies by systematically considering resource capabilities, and the influence of market conditions. Mechanical engineering enterprises can use the results for a comprehensive assessment of the innovative projects effectiveness, and for justifying the implementation of modern logistics management methods.
