Subject. This article discusses the procedure of financial control within the framework of an investment and construction project. Objectives. The study aims to identify approaches and ways to determine the level of an investment and construction project financial security. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of expert assessment, key performance indicators, and mathematical modeling. Results. The article develops and analyzes the concepts of an investment and construction project and its financial security. It also proposes the financial control quality assessment based on the financial security index. Conclusions. The interpretation of a project depends on the value of its index. The financial security of a project consists of several areas, project management should continuously monitor it.
