Identifying the destructive factors of the territory investment security

Subject. This article discusses destructive factors affecting the investment security of the territory and its socioeconomic development.
Objectives. The article aims to analyze the investment security risk factors and justify the need to neutralize them for financial security of the region and the country.
Methods. For the study, I used the methods indicative analysis, expert method, and graphical tools of research.
Results. The article reveals destructive factors of the national economy and proposes to systematically identify, diagnose, and eliminate them within the framework of regional policy. It also conducts an indicative analysis of the Republic of Mordovia investment security.
Conclusions. The research defined the main strategic directions for stimulating investment processes in the Republic of Mordovia to ensure the socioeconomic development of the territory.
