Process activities as a tool for structural modernization and ensuring technological sovereignty of the Russian energy sector

Subject. This article focuses on complexes of process activities in the Russian energy sector.
Objectives. The article aims to assess the progress of process activities of implementing complexes in the energy sector related to the components of the Federal level within the strategic planning system and to determine the relevance of such documentation.
Methods. For the study, I used methods of comparative analysis and synthesis of strategic planning documents of the Russian Federation.
Results. The article reveals that legislative regulation of process activities complexes in Russia covers a limited range of areas inherent in operational management rather than strategic planning. For complexes of process activities, there are no strict requirements regarding the connection of indicators with tasks, activities, or results.
Conclusions. All the analyzed process activities complexes are unable to serve as effective tools for structural modernization and ensuring the technological sovereignty of the Russian energy sector.
