Subject. This article focuses on theoretical and methodological bases of process project management.
Objectives. The article aims to develop an integrated approach to process project management, including a clear delineation of concepts, systematization of factors affecting its effectiveness, and a methodology for its evaluation. Also, it aims to explore the similarities and differences between project management and administration of projects.
Methods. For the study, I used systems and comparative analyses, and an assessment methodology of the effectiveness of process project management.
Results. The article reveals key features and differences between the classical and process approaches to project management. The study develops a classification of factors affecting the effectiveness of process project management and a methodology for assessing its effectiveness.
Conclusions. The uniqueness of the developed methodology lies in the use of a set of methods that allow assessing the qualitative and quantitative results of the project and the possibilities of its comprehensive assessment. Project managers and the public and corporate sectors administrators can use the results of the study.
