Subject. This article considers the current trends in the development of retail.
Objectives. The article aims to search for methods to reduce financial, material and time costs for the implementation of innovative projects.
Methods. For the study, we used a systems analysis.
Results. The article substantiates the need for the use of technological collaborations in the field of retail.
Conclusions. Considering the limited access to foreign innovative technologies, the formation of various kinds of alliances in the retail sector can significantly accelerate the development, implementation and promotion of new products, technologies, and intellectual property.
