Subject. This article analyzes the peculiarities of the behavior of complex socio-economic systems, which include the education system.
Objectives. The article aims to analyze the Sustainability (S) and Resilience (R) ability concepts.
Methods. For the study, we used the general scientific research methods.
Results. The article finds that from the point of view of the development of the education system, the concept of Resilience (R), which is characterized by an increase in the ability of complex systems to change synchronously with the needs of society, is the most preferable.
Conclusions. The system of educational trajectories should be flexible, which will help get prepared for possible changes and act in new conditions.
