Subject. The article deals with the transport sector development of the Russian economy in the face of uncertainty.
Objectives. The aim is to build a model enabling to predict threats to the economic security of transport industry enterprises.
Methods. The study rests on methods of functional and statistical analysis.
Results. We developed a system of indicators to assess the level of economic security of transport enterprises, taking into account the specifics of their innovative activities.
Conclusions. The proposed approach to assessing the level of economic security allows for timely adjustment of company's development strategy.
