Subject. This article explores the possibilities of ensuring stable growth of the Russian economy.
Objectives. The article aims to analyze the structure of the Russian economy and compare Russia with the leading countries in terms of the main economic indicators.
Methods. For the study, I used a systems approach based on the methods of statistical, neural network, and cluster analyses.
Results. The article defines the main structural relations of the Russian economy and finds that Russia is inferior to China, India and the United States in terms of real GDP growth.
Conclusions. The article concludes that there is a need for conjunctural regulation of the oil and gas sector aimed at the development of innovative industry branches.
