Subject. The article is devoted to making economic decisions under uncertainty. Objectives. We focus on the analysis of modern principles, methods, tools of quality management, applied in view of the current crisis situation. Methods. The study employs methods of scientific abstraction, as well as the systems, structural-functional and comparative analysis. Results. We formulated the evidence of evolutionary development of quality management. The paper established that business environment has a noticeable impact on the level of quality management. Conclusions. It is necessary to search for new approaches for effective development of quality management.
