Subject. This article explores the structural capabilities of the Russian economy.
Objectives. The article aims to determine the priorities for the development of the Russian economy.
Methods. For the study, I used the methods of statistical, neural network, and cluster analyses.
Results. The article justifies the need to pay primary attention to such parameters of economic development as GDP per capita, gross debt and incomes of the general government sector, and changes in the volume of imports.
Conclusions. The results of the study can be used by the authorities to develop programmes for the advancement of economic sectors to overcome the structural crisis.
