Subject. There are certain requirements for the successful development of innovative processes that shape the competitiveness and positioning of the country globally. The more developed and firm the conditions, the more active and successful innovative processes.
Objectives. The study evaluates and selects a strategy for revitalizing innovative processes to ensure the further innovative development of Russia.
Methods. The study is based on economic and mathematical methods, methods of comparative analysis, benchmark comparison, rating, ranking.
Results. I provide a comprehensive approach to evaluating what is required to revitalize innovative processes, including the evaluation algorithm, criteria and the matrix to select a strategy for revitalizing innovative processes. To do so, I evaluate the development level of the intellectual capital market and the extent to which development conditions for innovative processes are in place to determine a strategy for revitalizing innovative processes. I illustrate that the intellectual capital market and development conditions for innovative processes in Russia are rather underdeveloped, which laid the basis for the active revitalization strategy guidelines.
Conclusions and Relevance. Nowadays, as innovative processes speed up in Russia, Russia will take the lead in the world. Based on the analysis of the existing approaches of the Russian and foreign researchers to the innovation development, I suggest a comprehensive approach to evaluating the conditions for revitalizing innovative processes. The findings helped determine the strategy and outline the innovation revitalization strategy for Russia, including the elimination of weaknesses and reinforcement of points of growth.
