Cognitive structure of behavioral economics and imperatives of improving the quality of tacit knowledge

Importance The research examines the system of tacit knowledge that constitutes the basis for endogenous intellectual capital of the constituent entity and a driver for developing behavioral economy, where non-transferable tacit knowledge plays a greater role.
Objectives The research looks for, and substantiates integral conditions and factors to increase the quality of the tacit knowledge system as ontology of cognitive and key competencies of the economic agents operating within the framework of behavioral economy.
Methods The methodological framework for the research draws upon cross-disciplinary approach to identifying general patterns of developing and increasing the quality of tacit knowledge, and analyzing the specifics of cognitive space where the contemporary behavioral economy forms and functions.
Results The article brings scientific novelty as it specifies the interpretation substance and structure of the tacit knowledge system, substantiates the growing role of non-transferable tacit knowledge in extended reproduction of innovation as part of behavioral economics, and designs conceptual grounds for raising the quality of endogenous intellectual capital as a factor to produce cognitive competencies.
Conclusions and Relevance The tacit knowledge system was proved to become a key determinant of the development of the contemporary behavioral economics and provide an in-depth basis for extended reproduction of large, continuous and crucial innovation. The article may be used to advance theoretical, scientific and practical principles for creating and promoting the economy of non-transferable tacit knowledge in the country.
