Importance The article studies the key components of the financial integration of ASEAN and current trends in the development of this integration process.
Objectives The article aims to identify the current trends in financial integration of ASEAN.
Methods For the study, I used methods of analysis and a historical approach.
Results The paper shows the key stages in the development of regional financial cooperation and economic integration in ASEAN, and it reviews the main documents defining the strategy and tactics of financial integration, and discussed the priorities for its implementation and progress achieved by now.
Conclusions and Relevance I conclude that financial integration in ASEAN is characterized by a circumspective balanced approach with a clear planning of specific activities and timelines for their implementation. Despite the results, there are many sensitive for ASEAN issues requiring further harmonization.
