Importance The article presents some results of the research into feasibility of investment in Russia's young human resources. This aspect is important as all parties to the investment process, i.e. from households to the State, happen to unreasonable invest financial and other resources into Russia's young human capital.
Objectives We examined the real economic efficiency of investment in Russia's young human capital.
Methods We conducted in-depth interviews with executives in the Volgograd oblast. This primary data collection method helped identify deep and concealed motivation for investment in young human capital, which such conventional methods as completion of questionnaires fail to provide.
Results We obtained reliable and substantial results, which describe the feasibility of entities' investment in modern Russia's young human capital.
Conclusions and Relevance Large companies' investment in human capital under 30 are definitely beneficial for the investing company itself, thus improving the personnel's motivation, psychological climate, and productivity growth. However, the effect is short-term, requiring new young employees and new investment.
