Importance The social policy of the State in relation to employees of internal affairs plays the crucial role among mechanisms streamlining operations of the internal affairs bodies. Objectives The research determines what role the State social policy in the internal affairs bodies plays, which methods are used to formulate and implement it as part of ensuring and improving the economic security. Methods I demonstrate the role of the State social policy in the internal affairs bodies of Russia in ensuring the economic security, using an analysis of statistical data on public opinion on the corruption in the internal affairs, comparative method of research into expenses for monetary allowance and retirement benefits, systematization of motivation and incentive methods, analysis of scientific researches into the salaries and corruption trade-off. Results The State should develop its social policy towards the internal affairs bodies in order to enhance their performance and ensure the economic security. I present a methodology for formulating and implementing the social policy in the internal affairs. Conclusions and Relevance It is important to articulate and adopt the Concept for developing the State social policy towards the Russian Ministry of the Interior. I conclude that the Concept may become an effective mechanism for the internal affairs bodies to ensure the economic security.
