The Russian education in Mongolia: a Branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (For the 15th anniversary of the Ulaanbaatar Branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics)
Importance The article is devoted to the Ulaanbaatar branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, its achievements and issues, leaders, teachers and students. Objectives The research pursues a systematized analysis of setting up and developing the Ulaanbaatar branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. The research deals with the following objectives: to identify trends in the development of the Russian-Mongolian cooperation in education by reviewing cooperation between the USSR/Russia and Mongolia in education. Methods To perform the above objective, the article uses methods of logical and historical research, analysis and synthesis. As its novelty, the research identifies the current trends in the development of the Russian-Mongolian cooperation in the field of education. Conclusions and Relevance The article concludes that the USSR and Russia substantially supported and assisted Mongolia in the field of education, as a whole, and in setting up its national system of education, in particular.
