Innovation development of the consumer's cooperation food industry enterprises

Importance Now, in the face of Western sanctions, the challenge of our country's food quality is even more relevant. That is why the innovative development of the food industry, including the consumer's cooperation system, should be given increased attention to.
     Objectives The article deals with the basic problems of food enterprises of consumer's cooperation, including the disintegration and lack of interaction with other consumer organizations, low activity in the field of technological innovation, difficulties of competing with large retail chains, low financial stability of enterprises, limiting their development.
     Methods Using the methods of qualitative and quantitative data processing, the author analyzed various aspects of the innovative development of enterprises of consumer cooperation in production of food products.
     Results Based on the review results, the author identifies the main obstacles to the development of innovative enterprises of food industry of consumer cooperatives. This includes a low level of technical and technological support, shortage of trained personnel capable of developing new products and technologies, lack of raw materials of necessary quality and quantity, resistance of consumer food industry leaders to innovation.
     Conclusions and Relevance The author proposes actions to address the identified problems. They include the development and implementation of a coherent program of innovation development of the food industry of consumer cooperation, a more active use of all available instruments of State support, the influx of young, innovative workforce, constant retraining and upgrading the skills of staff and other measures to improve the management of human resources.
