The problem of economic growth and its determinant factors is one of the central and relevant problems in terms of the national economy modernization. At the present time, the impossibility of the continued use of the "commodity path" of the inertial development of the domestic economy becomes the most urgent question. The article attempts to address this problem: transition to a new model of the functioning of the national economy in the context of its rapid development. The authors perform terminological regulation and identify the essence of the "post-industrialism" and "good economy" definitions. With the help of the methods of the system and economic analysis, the paper proves that such a model should be based on the development of human potential and its development of the systemically important statistics of the sixth technological mode. Relying on the tools of economical and mathematical statistics, the article defines the relationship of indicators that evaluate the standing of socio-economic, scientific-technical and innovation and education spheres and their impact on the Russian GDP. The article arrives at conclusion that the model of the "good economy" should be based on intensive type of expanded reproduction of non-primary commodities and services, as well as on the need for simultaneous formation of the "new productive forces" in the sectors, which generate knowledge that can ensure the development of generated industrial relations in the post-industrial society. The paper determines the macroeconomic, socio-economic and institutional imperatives for the Russian economic development. The authors emphasize that the results of the study can be used by the State authorities to develop strategies for the socio-economic development of the country.
