One of the major trends in the world of education is the shift from the concept of functional training to the concept of personal development, which provides individualized education. The article substantiates the need to revise the old methods and the search for new approaches in education that promote self-expression and human development. The author makes a conclusion that the most appropriate way is to train students on the basis of active methods tailored to the capabilities of each individual student.
