The article analyzes a number of major activities and some of external municipal financial su-pervision issues. The author substantiates that under the conditions of unified authorities for all external municipal financial supervision system and unequal financial and socio-economic op-portunities for municipalities in order to implement them will require maximum efficiency from their activity results in urban districts - regional centers.
