Assessment of food balance resources in the Russian Federation

The article considers the level of food independence of Russia on the basis of balance of the main food resources in the period from 1990 to 2012, dynamics of outputs and food import. The authors carried out a comparison of indicators of food resources of the Russian Federation with the recommendations of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
