The operators of communication and broadcasting systems are link between the market and the space industry on the global space market. The article point out that for their successful commercial operation and maintenance needs of the end users before the task operators determine the optimum parameters of the satellites ordered in industry. Space communication system based on the basis of developed satellites should be commercially efficient and attractive for the investments. The proposed method of evaluating the effectiveness of the space projects can solve this problem and determine the required performance characteristics of communications and broadcasting satellites.

Keywords: global space market, space communication system, satellite, technical level, data capacity, regression analysis, commercial efficiency, investment costs, profitability of project
