The article considers fighting against laundering of "dirty" money in the Russian Federation recently. The author points out that the measures to counter the penetration of "dirty" money in professional sports, including under the guise of charity and sponsorship are relevant in this context. The article examines some of the problems of Russian sport's financing, including participation of the criminal world's representatives. The author proposes specific measures to combat money laundering and organized crime in the professional sports.
