The article considers, on the basis of correlation and regression analysis of the data obtained by the authors in the process of monitoring of personnel potential of agricultural enterprises of the Orel region, the human resources is one of the leading factors in improving the efficiency of agricultural production, with the level of technology and management system. The authors prove that the innovative development of the agricultural sector is impossible without highly qualified personnel.
