In the article the retrospective analysis of Russian-Estonian boundary relations through a prism of national interests of Russia and Estonia is carried out. The conditions and the factors which have had impact on development of Russian-Estonian boundary relations are shown. The conclusion is drawn on need of speeding up of contract and legal process of establishment of passing of Russian-Estonian frontier and its fixing on the district in mutually beneficial national interests of both states.
