The article considers the orientation of the Russian economy to an innovative model of development, the issue of social protection of employees, the globalization of the world economy, the high value of intangible factors determining economic growth shared a need to institutionalize the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This paper identifies the factors constraining the development of CSR justified action and identifies the tasks necessary for the formation and development of the institution of CSR in modern Russia.
