Questions of influence of a private property institution on economic development of modern Russia are considered. The problems and contradictions in private property institution formation in our country are shown. The conclusion is drawn on the need of improvement of institute of the property rights in the direction of its protection for attraction of additional investments into real sector of domestic economy and to contribution of reduction of "flight" of the capital from the country.
