In the article key statistics of activity of sea transport and port economy of Russia are considered: transportation of goods (loading, unloading, safety); transportations of passengers; operation of moorings; the extent of internal water navigable ways connected with implementation of transport process. The comparative characteristic of a current state of sea transport and port economy of Russia and foreign partners, in particular comparison of activity of ОJSC NCSP and port farms of Europe and development prospect is carried out.
