The feasibility of developing graphite deposits in Yakutia

In the article it is shown that Russia occupies one of leading places in the world on the general stocks of graphite. At the same time more than 360 enterprises of various sectors of the industry experience difficulties in providing with crystal graphite. The need of the enterprises for crystal graphite makes about 40-42 thousand tons, and in amorphous graphite - about 14-16 thousand tons. It is offered, considering competitiveness of high-quality southern Yakut graphite, to organize industrial development of the Nadezhdinsky graphite field in South Yakutia.
