The article is devoted to actual problems of providing social and economic security of Russia. It is noted that economic security is inseparably linked with social and psychological safety. Among problems of the Russian society, on the one hand, global threat of external military opposition, and with another - internal threats which in most cases can be explained with an economic situation in the country. Solutions of the specified problems are offered.
