In the article the description of results of flight inspection of students of the Russian higher education institutions on identification of psychological correlates of a phenomenon of super-consumption by means of specially created questionnaire is given. The qualitative analysis of the received answers is carried out. Results of the correlation and factorial analysis are presented. Communication of a studied phenomenon with such characteristics, as neuroticism susceptibility to a stress, force of processes of braking is revealed.
