In the article world experience of realization of state programs in the field of increase of power efficiency on the example of Great Britain, Germany, Ukraine, the USA is investigated. The key directions of a state policy of each country are revealed. On the basis of synthesis of world experience universal tendencies in considered area are proved. The results of studying of interaction of Russia with other countries are presented and the directions of development of the country for increase of power efficiency are presented.
