In this article the current model of state support for single-industry towns are analyzed. It is shown that this system consists of two main directions, each of which is realized irrespective of another; the most effective solution of the developed problems in mono-towns is combination of both directions. Are revealed both negative, and positive elements of existing model of the state support of development of mono-towns in our country
