Energy efficiency of the Russian economy and «green» investments

The government of the Russian Federation set a problem of increase of power efficiency of the Russian economy; it is supposed to reduce power consumption of gross domestic product by 40% by 2020. In the article the problem of financing the «green» sector of the Russian economy are analyzed. The current state of the Russian energy sector is considered, instruments of state support for energy efficiency and renewable energy are defined, and investment practice in respect of «green economy» in Russia is shown.
