Mechanisms of information management in the arms market: lessons from USA for Russia

Some paradoxical actions of the Russian and U.S. military in the information field are considered, for example, the criticism of the local and the praise of the foreign arms. It is shown that under certain conditions such information policy can be effective for defense industry. A qualitative analysis of the differences in the economic situation of the Russian and U.S. defense industry, defining the difference between the optimal informational policies are carried out.
