In the article the indicators and trends of the current state of the global oil market, defined the country – the largest producers, consumers, exporters and importers of oil in the world. Special attention is paid to Russia, which is currently the leading position in the global oil market are considered. The most important indicators of stability of the market of oil are defined; tendencies and the factors, allowing designating a number of strategic priorities for participants of the international power space are allocated.
