Now the region of the Caucasus is declared by a zone of "the vital interests" USA connected with participation in production and transportation of the Caspian oil. In the article the maintenance of policy of military and technical cooperation of the USA concerning Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia and its consequence for regional balance of forces are considered.
