Innovation economy: country profile and risk factors of Russian development

In the article the comparative analysis of positions of the leading countries and Russia in the field of innovative activity and productivity of innovative activity is provided. Factors and trends in change of a level of development of sector of science and technologies in these countries are revealed. Regularities of formation of innovative capacity of the countries and risks in this regard for economy of Russia are defined. Available problems are planned; the conclusion is drawn on need of revision of the principles of the state innovative policy.
