Migration problems of the Ulyanovsk region and their relation to the migration policy

In the article the main characteristics of the migratory situation which has developed in the Ulyanovsk region are considered. The interrelation between migratory processes and migratory policy is analyzed. The main advantages and shortcomings of the documents defining migratory policy in the region are revealed. Suggestions for improvement of migratory policy and migratory situation in the region are offered.
