Federal science and technology programs as tool for stimulating technology transfer: experience of U.S. Department of Defense

The article is devoted to consideration of the problems and the prospects of development of cooperation of the state and business, as key direction in strategy of development of defensive science and technologies. Experience of the Ministry of Defense of the USA in the organization of transfer of military technologies in commercial sector is analyzed. The main program, in which the Pentagon carries out a transfer and technology transfer are considered.
