Statistical data on innovative activity of the Russian enterprises are analyzed. The group of indicators which is used for definition of an integrated Index of innovation for hi-tech sectors of economy of Russia, consisting of three sub-indexes is created. On the basis of these sub-indexes the Index of innovative efficiency is defined. The assessment of innovative activity of ten most hi-tech sectors of economy is carried out.
