In the article the results of research of efficiency of operating economic mechanisms stimulation of renewable power development in India are presented. The special attention is paid to the problems and prospects of the market development of certificates on the energy received from renewable sources, as the mechanism combining market and administrative incentives. The possibilities of use of the Indian experience with developing method of calculation of tariffs for renewable energy in Russia are considered.
